Rental Search and Passport
Our platform is built for students and young professionals navigating the UK rental market — whether you are a first-year student moving into halls, a postgraduate looking for a house share, or a young professional settling into your career. We know families often play a big part in that process too, helping their child or family friend find the right place, and Student Bubble gives everyone the clarity and confidence to do that together.
Recognising how time-consuming the application process can be, we built the Rental Passport. This feature allows renters to apply for multiple properties that match their criteria from a single, easy-to-use platform.
We have integrated our own secure referencing platform directly into our search portal, providing guidance on optimising application materials and simplifying the upload of required documentation. Our aim is to build a trusted community of verified tenants for property providers.
Supporting Renters Beyond University
We believe a home is more than just a place to sleep. It shapes your daily life, wellbeing, and sense of community. Whether you are renting for the first time or the tenth, the experience should be simple, fair, and stress-free.
We have built a simple map that gives everyone a clear picture of what a city has to offer, helping renters find the right areas in which to live and socialise — covering transport links, university proximity, cost of living, and local amenities.
Our tenancy tools, maintenance logs, document storage, address-change service, and communications hub are designed to stay useful long after you sign your first lease. Students rarely track all of this and comms can get lost across inboxes — this way you stay on top of everything through a purpose-built dashboard. Even when landlords or agents communicate by email, everything is centralised so it is easier to manage.

The UK rental market is under pressure. With shrinking supply and rising demand across all age groups, competition for good homes has become fiercer than ever.
Our team is made up of people who have rented across the UK, giving us firsthand insight into the challenges tenants face at every stage of life. Having experienced the frustration of navigating the housing market without proper guidance, we are committed to bridging that information gap.
We have done the groundwork so you do not have to. Through careful vetting of the providers and properties on our platform, we aim to make the process as straightforward as possible. Simply select a property and send an enquiry.

Network and Compliance
Over the past few years, Student Bubble has built a network of property providers, university and college affiliations, and key industry bodies, including Registers of Scotland and the Land Registry. Our network continues to grow.
Our Rental Passport is built on our own encrypted, GDPR-compliant platform. It is designed to support compliance with right-to-rent legislation and to give property providers and renters alike confidence in the verification process.

Student Bubble was founded in 2021 as a modern alternative to conventional search portals, built specifically for the rental market.
The Geovation Scotland Team and accelerator programme provided crucial support in our early stages, helping to propel the company into a period of growth and development.

We nurture the curiosity and enthusiasm that comes from working on a problem you genuinely care about. Most of our socials have a rental theme and we have been known to play life-size Monopoly.
We place a strong emphasis on work-life balance, mental health, and environmental sustainability. We prioritise sustainable travel for business and maintain a regular social calendar to keep our team connected.
